Abstract:

We obtain some characterizations and several properties of $M$-closed functions defined between sets satisfying some minimal conditions. The functions enable us to formulate a unified theory of modifications of closedness: $\alpha$-closedness, semi-closedness, preclosedness and $\beta$-closedness.
