Abstract:
First we look at some definitions, interpreting
hypergroups as sets with a ternary special relation. Then we establish the
relationships between canonical hypergroups defined usually (starting with
Marty, Krasner, Eaton) and those defined by J. R. McMullen and J. F. Price
by using some mappings.
