will take place in Olanesti (Valcea County), Romania, from June, 18th till June, 22nd, 2010.
Welcome Message
On behalf of the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport we are highly honored to welcome all the participants at The 14th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad. This Olympiad is a remarkable event which brings together a number of the best junior high school student mathematicians to prove their native gift and acquired knowledge.
I am certain that these young people will contribute essentially to the creation of a brilliant future for our countries and I am confident that the friendships initiated during such competitions will ensure peace and harmony in this part of Europe.
Since Romania is the initiator of the international mathematics competition in 1959, it is our great pleasure to host the Junior Balkan Olympiad of this year.
I wish you good luck and a pleasant stay in Romania.
