Abstract:

Suppose that $\cal F$ is a presheaf of sets, $\tilde{\cal F}$ is the associated sheaf and $\eta:{\cal F}\to \tilde{\cal F}$ is the canonical morphism of presheaves. We study the relationship between the surjectivity of $\eta_D$ for any open set $D$ and the "gluing" property (F2).
