Subhasis Das: Annular bounds for the zeros of polynomials, 335-347

Abstract:

Let $p\left( z\right) $ be a polynomial of degree $n$ with real or complex coefficients. In this paper some circular and ring shaped region containing all the zeros of $p\left( z\right) $ whose centre is different from origin in the complex plane were obtained. The results obtained is best possible as shown in the Remark [4] and [6]. In many cases the new bounds are much better than some other well-known bounds.

Key Words: Zeros, Cauchy bound, ring shaped region.
